Request a proposal
The Request a proposal action sends an email to the provider with the quote details. The request can be sent to ALL providers or individual providers. You can include any documents that have been added under the Attachment tab to the request.
- Open the Quote.
- Click Actions > Request Proposal(s). The Request Proposal(s) form opens. All providers you added to the quote appear on the same form but each provider has their own message block.

Select a provider to send a request or clear a provider to not send a request. Any deselected providers do not receive a proposal request email.
- For Additional Recipients:
Click CC or BCC to open the address book
OR
- Enter the emails in the text box separated by a comma.
- If applicable, select Additional Email Options.
- If applicable, select Include Quotation Attachments. A selection menu opens.
- Select the attachment.
- Click X to remove the attachment.

If applicable, enter an Additional Message.
- Repeat steps 4-7 for all other selected Providers.

Click Apply. The proposal request email is sent to the providers selected and the status is updated to Sent.
Note: An error message appears if there are any errors and wiIl remain until you fix the issue. However, if you send a request to two or more providers, but there is a problem with one of them, the request will still send to the providers that are correctly added.
